India’s Honor of Kings squad has moved into focus after NODWIN Gaming unveiled the country’s roster for the Esports Nations Cup 2026. IndianTelevision reported on July 21, 2026 that the team received a special invite route for the Riyadh event, where the Honor of Kings tournament is scheduled for November 24 to 29.
This is not a rummy or fantasy-money story. It matters because Indian gaming search demand is shifting. After the real-money gaming reset, more users are looking at esports, watch-alongs, free play, mobile tournaments and creator-led gaming instead of deposit-led cash contests.
What changed for India
IndianTelevision named Ainul Haidery, known as Senpai, as the in-game leader, alongside Aashish Chouhan, Rahul Lavhate, Saurabh Jagadale and Bezalel Hmar, with Aryan Gulati and Saad Sardar listed as substitutes and Gradyano Valendy as coach. The report said India had also booked ENC spots across titles including BGMI, chess, Trackmania and Valorant.
The official Esports Nations Cup site says Honor of Kings will feature 24 teams and a $1.32 million prize pool. Its July 20 press release said the final slots include a special invite for the top team from India, with the tournament beginning on November 24 and ending with the grand final on November 29.
Why it matters for players
For users moving away from old fantasy cricket or rummy cash-game searches, esports is a clearer product category when it stays within tournament play, streaming, team competition and community engagement. The risk starts when an esports or cricket-gaming search is used as a front for deposits, odds, wallet transfers or “sure-win” betting groups.
- Esports teams, rosters and official tournaments are different from betting markets on match outcomes.
- A mobile MOBA event does not make third-party wagering links safer.
- Users should check official tournament pages before trusting social posts or agent claims.
- Brand pages should describe current product status instead of recycling old cash-contest language.
How brands may respond
Gaming brands that previously depended on paid contests now have stronger reasons to build around esports content, creator coverage, free-to-play engagement, fan communities and tournament discovery. For cricket and fantasy platforms, the same shift is visible in watch-along formats and non-cash engagement tools.
That does not mean every gaming product becomes esports overnight. It does mean search pages need to separate permitted competitive gaming from prohibited money-game mechanics in plain language.
What users are searching next
The likely searches are “India Honor of Kings ENC 2026 roster”, “NODWIN Gaming ENC 2026”, “Honor of Kings India team”, and “India esports after gaming ban”. Those searches should lead users to rosters, schedules and official event details, not betting mirrors.
