The eCricket closed beta began on October 27, 2026, giving selected mobile players their first access to LightFury Games’ new cricket title. The test is split into three eight-day batches and is scheduled to finish on November 21.
This is a limited test, not the full India release. Players need a closed beta pass, and the colour of that pass determines their batch. Anyone who missed registration can join the official waitlist, but a waitlist entry does not guarantee immediate access.

What LightFury has confirmed
eCricket is being built in Unreal Engine 5.5 for mobile. Its official site lists more than 700 licensed players, AI commentary, broadcast-style presentation, advanced physics and competitive multiplayer. The studio is presenting it as a skill-based cricket game built for regular fans as well as competitive and esports players.
Those are the confirmed headline features. The developer has not yet published a complete public list of teams, device requirements, prices or the final India launch date. Claims about an APK, redeem code or universal early-access link should therefore be checked against the official site.
What beta players receive
LightFury says closed beta pass holders will receive three items when the India version launches: 1,000 eCoins, an exclusive player card and a founder badge. The rewards are tied to official beta access; users should not pay a private seller for a pass or send an OTP to someone promising to unlock the items.
The rollout has three broad stages: this closed beta, a wider eCricket Beta and then the India launch. Progress is expected to carry forward from the wider beta, while closed-beta users move into that second phase automatically. The studio has not attached public calendar dates to the final two phases.
Is eCricket a fantasy sports or betting app?
No official material reviewed for this report describes eCricket as a paid fantasy contest or betting product. It is a mobile cricket video game with competitive multiplayer. The phrase “Pick. Build. Win.” appears alongside its licensed-player roster, but that does not by itself mean users can stake money or withdraw cash.
